We Have Expanded To Charleston
With great pleasure we would like to share the news that we have expanded to Charleston! Today we are doing Q & A with Robin Fishburne, a Realtor® with our team since 2012. Robin relocated to Charleston last year and is ready to rock the real estate market in her new city.
Q: What do you love about Charleston?
A: What is there not to like about Charleston! There is something for everyone. There are many different types of things to do. I love the history of our city. I was a carriage tour guide for 7 years and loved telling people our wonderful history. There are so many fabulous restaurants in Charleston where you could eat at a new restaurant every day for at least a year.
I especially love the beaches. In 10 minutes I can be at a beach digging my toes in the sand. Boating is a must here in Charleston. There are lots of great places to meet up with friends, go fishing or just cruising around taking in the scenery.
Q: What is the area known for?
A: History! Yorktown battleship, historical home tours, carriage tours, famous festivals, beaches, plantations, food/restaurants, etc.
Q: Which one is your favorite beach and why?
A: I love Sullivan's Island because it has some great restaurants and it is quieter and more of a locals beach.
Q: How is Charleston growing?
A: By leaps and bounds! It has expanded as far north as 20 miles and it has stretched at least that far towards Summerville. There are so many people moving to the Charleston area that it has turned into a sellers market.
Q: What is not commonly known about the area that you wish people knew?
A: That it actually has snowed in Charleston a few times before. We do get a lot of ice storms versus snow. There are also so beautiful plantation homes that are open to the public that are worth seeking out when visiting the city.
Q: What do you miss about Greenville?
A: I truly miss the view of the mountains that I used to see every day driving to downtown Greenville. I also miss being able to see close friends on a daily basis that we have had for over 20 years.
Thank you Robin, Charleston sounds amazing! Who is ready for a visit to the Low Country?
